If you're looking for a fantastic realtor, choose Stephanie! She was so, so helpful throughout our home-buying journey. A couple specific things that made her stand out throughout our process: A. She was very proactive, prompt, and took initiative IMMEDIATELY once we started working with her. Although we were still a month or two away from having tax returns back and being pre-approved, she still took us out the day after meeting to look at homes to gather a better understanding of what we liked and what we were looking for. She'd then create lists of homes for us to review that fit into our list of desires. She also created time for us on any given day, such as when we received our inspection report and she was ready day-of to meet and review it with us. B. She helped us a lot with the difficult communication among all the parties involved. She would contact people for us and assist in communication that we didn't even know where to begin with. C. She is not afraid to ask questions and ensure her clients are getting the absolute best, and if they aren't she wants her clients to know the hidden information so she points it out. For example, when going over our contract, she pointed out that our contract stated it could take up to 2 years for our home to finish building even though our estimated closing date was 3 months away. D. She is willing to be aggressive and push her way through for what you want. When first looking at homes, we found one we wanted that was a short sale with a lot of baggage. However, she worked really hard to communicate with the realtor selling the home in efforts to see our eligibility for purchasing. If you want something, she will try her true best to get you it. E. She provided us with so many good recommendations when we were unsure of where to start looking, such as inspectors or private mortgage insurance. Odds are, she has someone good in her back pocket. Along with this, I LOVED her lender, Jason. Compared to another lender, he was able to get us from an FHA to a conventional loan AND approved for $40k more. F. Stephanie also just feels like a friend, not someone who wants to work with you to make a commission. She truly is so kind and thoughtful. She even gave us a welcome mat and a gift card after we closed to show her excitement for our purchase and support us and our new home. I HIGHLY recommend Stephanie and will be recommending her to anyone who asks for a great realtor.
